Numbers and their abstraction have always been friends to Jason.

From memorizing prime numbers as a child to being one of the 10 kinds of people that understand binary. Numbers made sense when people did not.

That might be why Julian could pull the wool over his eye, set Jason up for failure, and then have Castle and Yale come in and chop Jason off at the knees.

Always being a fast thinker and someone a little anti-establishment, stealing the melon prototype was not a hard reach.

From his days of studying in German to his younger days in South East Asia, travelling with little was not a struggle.
